Forestry

The forestry industry is characterized by its high profitability, its long term horizon and its positive impact on the environment. Forestry projects in Peru can generate IRR of around 17% and 24%. The development of forest plantations on already deforested land in Peru can be done in a very cost-efficient manner. Also, there are different tax incentives (0% Sales Tax and 10% Income Tax) that make the industry very attractive.
